For too long, patients on Maryland’s Eastern Shore have had to travel significant distances for periodontal care. At Anchor Periodontics, we’re changing that. Our practice brings advanced periodontal and implant therapy right to Stevensville, so the community we call home can access the care it deserves without the commute.
We believe exceptional care and an exceptional experience aren’t mutually exclusive. Our practice is designed with a refined coastal aesthetic that feels calm, elevated, and genuinely comfortable. But luxury doesn’t mean exclusive. We’re committed to serving the full range of our community, accepting select insurance plans and keeping our doors open to patients of all ages and backgrounds.
The name Anchor Periodontics carries more meaning than most. It reflects Dr. Polak’s decade of service in the United States Navy, the way implants and teeth serve as literal anchors for health and function, and our deep roots along Maryland’s beautiful coastline. Every detail of this practice was built with intention, and that intention is you.

Dr. Elizabeth Polak
DMD, MS
Dr. Elizabeth Polak brings a rare combination of clinical precision and genuine care to every patient she sees. Before founding Anchor Periodontics, she served 10 years on active duty with the United States Navy, an experience that shaped her commitment to discipline, integrity, and showing up fully for every person in her care. She continues to serve in the Naval Reserves today.
Dr. Polak earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine and her Master of Science in Periodontology, giving her deep clinical expertise in the full spectrum of gum health, from non-surgical therapy to complex implant rehabilitation and full-mouth reconstructive cases. Her approach is thorough, precise, and always focused on long-term outcomes over quick fixes.
Beyond traditional periodontal care, Anchor Periodontics offers facial aesthetic services including microneedling and Botox, allowing patients to address both their oral health and their overall appearance in one trusted, comfortable setting. Dr. Polak sees patients of all ages, from young patients needing early periodontal support to long-term patients who want to keep their teeth for life.
Dr. Polak chose the Eastern Shore because it is her community. She is deeply invested in expanding access to specialty dental care for a region that has long needed it, and in building a practice where every patient feels known, heard, and genuinely cared for.
